Nero backitup is a back up file created and compressed by Nero backitup. It contains the data to be backed up, even CDs and DVDs. The compression is done using standard ZIP compression to increase the mount of space in the disks. File extension NCO compression removes unwanted files and old drivers and therefore creating additional space for more data. The compressed back up file may undergo protection by creating a password that is encrypted with a 56-bit key. Its other applications are editing, video, photo, audio, networking and back-up.
